No vote for Brnovich

It took great scandals to rid Arizona of two elected officials with no desire to serve its citizens, but Joe Arpaio and Helen Purcell are gone.

Now, Mark Brnovich, the current attorney general, has not had a scandal of this proportion, but he may be even worse than those two. The Attorney General’s office is supposed to serve Arizona and its citizens. Easy enough?

Not under Brnovich. His loyalties are really starting to show. Maybe he’ll provide his own scandal.

He’s been supporting ExxonMobil in its lawsuit. Nothing to do with Arizona.

He’s been supporting Americans For Prosperity (Koch Brothers) and reaping the benefits. Those reelection commercials …  paid for by millions from these dark money donors.

He’s repeatedly taken AFP’s side over public education — directly going against the voice of the people.

Now he’s cashing in on APS’s mega-donation to him, by trying to sabotage Prop 127, which APS is very much against.

So, we currently have an attorney general who is anti-citizen, pro-corporation, easily and dangerously influenced by what his big money donors want him to do.

Is this really an attorney general we want to reward with four more years of not bothering with us?
